Event-date deadline calculator for custom shirts
Your event
Timing uses DYEWAVE's published lead time: 5–10 days production plus about 9 days by air after you approve the proof.
Your timeline
Next step: collect names, numbers and sizes with the roster builder.
How the timeline works
Every DYEWAVE order follows the same steps: you send artwork or an idea, we send a digital proof, you approve it, we produce your shirts in 5–10 days, and they fly to your US address in about 9 days with duties already paid. The date that matters is proof approval; everything after it runs on a fixed clock.
Most late shirts are caused before approval: sponsor logos that arrive late, sizes nobody collected, or a design changed three times. Lock those early and the rest is predictable. Organizing a race? See the race director's shirt checklist.

Common questions
How long do DYEWAVE shirts take?
Production takes 5–10 days after you approve the digital proof, then about 9 days by air to a US address, so shirts typically arrive 14–19 days after proof approval.
Why does the calculator say 21 days before my event?
It uses the slow end of our published timing (19 days) and adds 2 days of buffer, so a normal delay does not put your event at risk.
What if my date has already passed the deadline?
Message us with your date. Sometimes it can still work; if it cannot, we will tell you so rather than promise a date we cannot hit.
Is the price in the calculator final?
For 10–49 shirts the published price is $18 per shirt, delivered duty paid. Your quote and proof confirm the final order.
