Sponsors on the back

Robotics teams run on sponsors: local businesses, engineering firms, parents' employers. Sublimation prints the whole shirt in full color at one price, so twenty sponsor logos cost the same as one. Send the logo files and we lay out a sponsor grid on the proof, with the biggest sponsors largest.

New sponsors mid-season? A new design is proofed again; reorders keep the same pricing.

Team shirt and pit crew shirt

Many teams order a team shirt for everyone and a second color for the drive team or pit crew. Each is its own design with its own minimum.

Every DYEWAVE shirt carries a small DYEWAVE mark on the sleeve and at the back neck, as shown. Everything else is printed exactly from the proof you approve.

Buying through a school

You get one invoice from our US company, and we provide a W-9 for vendor setup. Tell us your purchase order process when you ask for a quote. Shirts ship to the school or the coach, duties already paid.

Program names and logos

DYEWAVE is not affiliated with FIRST, VEX or any robotics program. If you want a program's logo on your shirt, follow that program's brand rules; we print your team's own design and what you approve on the proof.

Logos you send must be yours to use

We print your own logo, artwork and names. Sponsor logos need the sponsor's permission, and program logos must follow the program's brand rules. We do not print logos of professional teams, colleges or other brands without written permission from the owner.

How ordering works

1. Send your logo and sponsorsTeam logo and number, sponsor logo files, and whether you need a pit crew design. No artwork? Use our free design service.
2. Send names and sizesSizes for every shirt, plus names if you want them.
3. Approve the digital proofNothing is printed until you approve it, and any design or fabric-color problem is flagged here.
4. Production: 5–10 daysYour design is sublimated into the polyester, every shirt with its own name or number if you sent them.
5. Air delivery: about 9 daysShipped to your US door with duties paid, so nothing is due on arrival.

Pricing

All-over sublimation shirts, priced per design: your full design seam to seam, with your team number, every sponsor logo and names.

DDP means air shipping and US import duties are included, with nothing extra to pay when the box arrives. Design help and the digital proof are free.

Simpler option, logo customization: if you only need your logo printed or embroidered on a shirt, that is $18 per shirt for 10–49, also delivered duty paid, with a 10-shirt minimum per design.

Timing

After you approve the digital proof, production takes 5–10 days, then about 9 days by air, so shirts typically arrive 14–19 days after approval. Competition dates are fixed, so send your first event date with the quote request and approve the proof early. Use the deadline calculator to find the last day to approve your proof.

Honest limits

Sublimation only works on polyester, so we do not make cotton shirts. Sublimation inks are transparent, so designs look brightest on white and light fabrics; we flag any design and fabric color that will not work at the proof stage. The minimum is 15 shirts per design for all-over sublimation, and 10 per design for logo customization. DYEWAVE is not affiliated with FIRST, VEX or any robotics program.
