What chapters order

Recruitment and bid day

Shirts for the whole chapter and new members, ordered by a fixed date.

Philanthropy events

Event shirts for runs, tournaments and fundraisers, often with sponsors.

Formals and socials

Event shirts with the date and theme.

Chapter and intramural shirts

Everyday chapter shirts and intramural team jerseys.

Your letters need your national organization's approval

Greek letters, crests, coats of arms and organization names are trademarks owned by the national organizations. Most national organizations control who may print them, often through a licensing program, and require chapters to order from approved printers. That is why we print them only with written approval for your order.

Authorization form (PDF, 2 pages, fillable). Download it, fill it in on screen, sign it, and email it with your artwork to sales@dyewave.com.

How approval works

  1. Check your chapter's rulesAsk your chapter's licensing or risk contact, or your national headquarters, how to get approval for a printer and a design.
  2. Download and fill in our formPart A is yours; the national organization or its licensing program signs Part C, or you attach its written approval.
  3. Send it with your artworkWe start the proof once the approval is in. Nothing is printed until you approve the proof.

No approval needed

Designs without your letters, crest or organization name need no approval: for example a philanthropy event's own name and artwork, or an intramural team name. Those follow the normal ordering process.

Every DYEWAVE shirt carries a small DYEWAVE mark on the sleeve and at the back neck, as shown. Everything else is printed exactly from the proof you approve.

Recruitment dates do not move

Approval can take time. Start the approval request when you start the design, and send the signed form at least four weeks before recruitment or bid day. Delivery is about 14–19 days after you approve the proof.

Logos you send must be yours to use

We print your own logo, artwork and names. For Greek letters, crests and organization names, that means written approval from your national organization or its licensing program. We do not print logos of professional teams, colleges or other brands without written permission from the owner.

How ordering works

DDP means air shipping and US import duties are included, with nothing extra to pay when the box arrives. Design help and the digital proof are free.

Simpler option, logo customization: if you only need your logo printed or embroidered on a shirt, that is $18 per shirt for 10–49, also delivered duty paid, with a 10-shirt minimum per design.

Timing

After you approve the digital proof, production takes 5–10 days, then about 9 days by air, so shirts typically arrive 14–19 days after approval. Recruitment and bid day: send the signed authorization form and approve the proof at least three weeks ahead. Use the deadline calculator to find the last day to approve your proof.

Honest limits

Sublimation only works on polyester, so we do not make cotton shirts. Sublimation inks are transparent, so designs look brightest on white and light fabrics; we flag any design and fabric color that will not work at the proof stage. The minimum is 15 shirts per design for all-over sublimation, and 10 per design for logo customization. Greek letters, crests and organization names are printed only with written approval from the national organization or its licensing program.

Chapter shirt FAQ

Common questions

Can you print our Greek letters?

Yes, with written approval from your national organization or its licensing program for the order, recorded on our authorization form.

Why do you need approval?

Greek letters, crests and names are trademarks owned by the national organizations, and most control who may print them. Printing without approval could cause problems for your chapter and for us.

Where do we get approval?

From your national headquarters or the licensing program it uses. Your chapter's licensing or risk contact usually knows the process.

Does a philanthropy shirt need approval?

Only if it uses your letters, crest or organization name. A design with only the event's own name and artwork does not.

What is the authorization form?

A two-page fillable PDF: you fill in Part A, the owner signs Part C or you attach its written approval, and you email it with your artwork.

How much do custom chapter shirts cost?

All-over sublimation shirts are $29 each for 15–29, $25 for 30–49 and $22 for 50+, priced per design. Logo shirts are $18 each for 10–49. All prices are delivered duty paid to a US address: air shipping and import duties included.

Do more colors or more logos cost more?

No. Sublimation prints full color at the same price, so gradients, photos, patterns and extra logos cost the same as a one-color design.

How long does an order take?

About 14–19 days after you approve the proof: 5–10 days production plus about 9 days by air. Use the deadline calculator to find the last day to approve for your date.

Can I use AI-generated artwork?

Yes. Send artwork from an AI image tool or your own design and we print it edge to edge. We check it and send a digital proof before anything is printed.

Will the DYEWAVE logo be on our shirts?

Yes. Every shirt carries a small DYEWAVE mark on the sleeve and at the back neck, as in the examples on this page. The rest of the shirt is your design, printed from the proof you approve.

Can you invoice an organization?

Yes. You get one invoice from our US company, and we can provide a W-9 for vendor setup.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes. Prices on this page are delivered to a US address; other destinations are quoted per order.
